Once again, the night of Oscar was an unforgettable event. The hilarious presenter Ellen DeGeneres tempered the tension, among the prizegivings, distributing pizza, scratch cards as consolation prizes and made a fool on the Lawrence for her twice tumbles!
First of all, I wanna pay tribute to Sorrentino for "La grande bellezza". Finally after 15 years since "La vita è bella" of Benigni, Italy got back to win the Oscar as best foreign movie. It has been very exciting to see our director while getting an important prize for his work.
Another prizegiving which touched me a lot is that of Lupita as best supporting actress in "12 years slave". She was quite incredulous and bursted out delight and spontaneity. And she said that it doesn't matter where you come from, sometimes dreams come true. There was something magic, perhaps for the happiness that she emanated or maybe because she looked like a princess in that beautiful blue light dress, by Prada.
Sure enough, as we know well, the night of Oscar is non only about movies, actors and screenplays, but it represents an occasion for the ladies to show off dream dresses and breath-taking look. Here you are the pictures from the red carpet of the dresses which stole the show. M.
